Youth Sport Trust and Department of Health - Change4Life Primary Sports Clubs

The Brief:
To develop and write a range of resources for the national Change 4 Life Primary Sports Clubs programme on behalf of the Youth Sport Trust. The resources needed to attract inactive children to join fun themed clubs out of schools hours in association with National Governing Bodies of Sport. To provide additional support to develop the programme further with Change4life Champions and Mentors training and resources, Change4life, new activity cards and online learning modules for use by School Games Organisers and schools.

What I did:
I wrote and developed, activity cards for each of the clubs themes, individual participant log books, a club leader handbook, online learning modules and the development and delivery of Champion and mentor training for Youth Sport Trust and individual Schools Sport Partnerships across the country.

Reach of programme:

• Over 7,284 primary clubs established.
• Over 87,214 primary participants.
• 13,028 young leaders trained.
• 3,945 Champions trained.
• Over 5,724 Club Deliverers.
• 894 C4L Mentors trained.
