A workshop providing a variety of active learning ideas & tools to get pupils up and out of their seats whilst learning maths, English and science actively. Helping with focus, concentration and engagement.

KS2 activities to get the body moving, the brain fizzing and the literacy skills flourishing in partnership with Pobble.

Overview:
Providing new ideas to support pupils to develop their literacy skills through physical activity in the classroom/hall. Including Conjunction Collector, Travelling Speller and The Synonym Factory developed by Pobble. All tried and tested activity cards are included. (Pobble is an educational platform, designed by and for teachers to help improve children’s writing www.pobble.com).

We Have A Story To Tell
Active story-telling. Bringing stories to life, supporting vocabulary, character and creativity and storytelling.

Overview:
Sharing ways to incorporate active learning through story-telling. Not only increasing the activity levels of pupils but using movement to help pupils develop their speaking and listening skills, enrich their vocabulary, support sound making, help with character development and story-telling through fun differentiated activities.

MOVE with Zip Active
Active-supporting KS1 staff in the delivery of purposeful PE lessons.

Overview:
A workshop designed specifically to support KS1 staff in the delivery of purposeful PE lessons. Using The MOVE with Zip Active resources to support fundamental movement skill development along with competing with self and others, social skill development, self and peer review. This will help staff with planning, progressions and differentiation.

Observation & Assessment in PE
Observing and assessing progress in PE in KS1.

Using The OBSERVE & ASSESS with Zip Active resource, this workshop will support KS1 staff in observing and assessing progress in PE for Year 1 pupils, including engaging peer review and self-review methods. An engaging and interactive workshop exploring ideas and providing a user friendly way to measure what we treasure.
